You could, I suppose, wear a bag instead.
But hats fit your head and they're stylish too.
So why wear a bag when a hat will do?

Blue caps to fit on the head of a cop. 
A ten-gallon hat is not something new;
A hat for a grad
and cooks have one
too
On jockeys 
and snowmen
a hat you'll find;
And for a party 
there's just the right kind.
Don't forget Santa and old Uncle Sam 
The ballplayer's cap 
or the Scotsman's tam 
Bonnet 
derby 
or fez 
to name a few -
